Just posting a journal for anyone who still might follow me here of the other places you can catch me. As you may or may not know, twitter is going down hill as well. A place where I'm usually very active at as far as posting all matter of art. I have joined Bluesky Social, and will be treating that place in the same vein as I have twitter. I will not be leaving dA and will be posting here still, but this place is dead as well. Like, I get that a ton of people don't like the new interface of the site that at this point is nearly two years old, I'm sure. But even then, even if it's quite dead in some ways, why leave when there is pretty decent tool to detect stolen artwork minted for NFTs? Yesterday I had my first piece of artwork stolen on Opensea and got it taken down in 24hrs thanks to dA's NFT notification. :/ While I'm sad that the site isn't as lively as it was, and that I don't mind the new interface I'm gonna stick around and upload artwork here for the sole fact that if my stuff get's minted at least I have some way of knowing. I can't depend on someone finding out and letting me know and I'm not gonna constantly scour Opensea to find if my art is on there or not.

So it's another year come and gone, and for 2020, all the better. Usually I'd list my resolutions here but I've already did so elsewhere. I hope everyone is doing well regardless. Ask for the future of this dA account I will continue to upload commission work and pieces I'm happy with here. I tried to be a little more active but this site is just dead. I actually do like the new format though, I guess I'm in the minority. I'm no longer going to try to be active like I once was here, that ship has sailed. Any mutuals I had here are gone, moved on, grown up and doing other things. I continue to post here because this is one of the few sites I've invested over ten years of content into and until dA shuts itself down I don't see myself leaving. I'm grateful for the relationships I've had here, and the newcomers that have come, but if you want me at my most active, as per usual I reside on twitter and instagram and I have my own website. I'm not who I was here a decade ago or when I

...just wondering, but how do you choose slots? Is it on a first-come first-serve basis in terms of who requests it first or who shows you the points first? I've seen people go either way in terms of doing it.
